Posted onVerified Amazing Mardi Himal Trek Experience I did the Mardi Himal Trek in November with a friend through Radiant Treks, and the whole experience went very smoothly. They were quick to respond to our messages and answered all our questions clearly. The price for the full 5-day Pokhara to Pokhara trek was fair, and everything was arranged well from start to finish.Our guide Arjun and porter Ram were a big part of what made the trek so enjoyable. Arjun was friendly, patient, and always checked that we were doing well on the trail. Ram was strong, reliable, and always ready to help. Since November is a busy season, they made sure all our accommodations were booked ahead of time and chose the best available places to stay each night. Thanks to their effort and care, we could just enjoy the trek without worrying about logistics. Leading up to the trip all of the questions I had were answered within the day in full detail leaving nothing questioned when arriving in Nepal.GK made the trek enjoyable and explained nepalise and Tibet culture within the mountains. GK made numerous phone calls throughout the trip to guest houses to preorder food and rooms so we were always catered to and never felt like we were missing anything.We booked our Manaslu circuit trek during the off season, and towards one of our last stops of the trek GK was informed that the pass was closed and we were possibly not able to cross. Obviously we were disappointed but there’s not much we can do about the weather. GK still made several enquiries with all parties along the pass and figured out a plan to get us to complete the trek. He turned the impossible situation into one that let us finish the trek. After the trek GK still helped us explore Nepal and organised flights, hotels and food throughout the rest of our trip. From picking up at airport through the trip and transportation back to the airport. Provided warm sleeping bags and puffer jackets. Best places selected for delicious food to fuel up on. Our guide Goku guided us safely through unexpected conditions always ensuring we were able to keep pace and that we were ok. We enjoyed getting to know about the areas, views, people, culture and enjoyed the laughter at end of each day of our journey. Goku was caring, considerate, friendly and knowledgeable. The drive from Pokhara to Jomsom was very beautiful. Snow peaks, rivers and apple orchards made us feel very calm and peaceful.At Muktinath Temple, the cold water from the 108 taps was refreshing but a little hard for our elderly parents. The flame temple was very magical. We also visited Jharkot Monastery and a quiet village near Lubra. An old monk gave blessings to our parents, which was very touching.The food in Marpha was simple but very tasty. Our stay in Jomsom was neat and comfortable. One member of the team, arjun ,shared many small local stories and made the places more interesting for all of us.This trip was more than just sightseeing. It was peaceful, spiritual and perfect for whole family. We are very happy and thank the team for making it memorable.Posted onVerified Great experience We were friends group from China and we did Mardi Himal Trek with Radiant Treks last month. It was really amazing experience for all of us. The view from Badal Danda was so beautiful that is still in my eyes. We saw Machhapuchhre very close like dream. The teahouse was clean and food were very tasty. On the way down, we went to Siding Village and eat local dal bhat will all pals. It was very warm and real Nepali feeling.Our guide Gokarna was very friendly and helpful. He always smile and make us laugh even when the trail was hard. He tell many stories about local people and mountain life which make the trek more interesting.Everything was organized, we feel safe and happy whole time. Ambar, our guide, ensured we were informed, safe, well fed and always supported throughout the whole experience. His 30 years plus of guiding experience was certainly evident. Even after all those years of leading groups his love and enthusiasm for his job was really inspiring. The highlight of our trip was an acclimatisation side trip to the Tibetan Border at just under 5000m. Thank you for the experience of a lifetime.
