You have four different seasons to decide from Spring, Monsoon, Autumn, and Winter. Below you can read the short and brief explanation of these seasons:

Spring Season

Spring Season brings a new beginning along with it throughout the valley. The months of March, April, and May fall under this season. These are the months when beautiful flower buds are on the verge of blooming. Also, the lost greenery of the hills gets its color back.

During this season, the weather and temperature are quite favorable. The skies are clear making the view of peaks and valleys remarkable. Traveling during these months, the days are sunny while nights are a bit cold.

However, the routes are packed with fellow trekkers making it noisy and crowded. Also, you have to adjust to accommodation as you might have to share rooms with other people.

Autumn Season

Autumn Season is considered the peak time of the year. It is the season that attracts a huge no. of trekkers to trek in these paths. The months of September, October, and November fall under this season.

These are the months when the beauty of nature is at its peak. The colorful forest paths are mesmerizing to walk along. Also, the view of snowy peaks in the clear blue skies looks stunning.

You will love the surroundings around you during this season. However, the crowded paths will be a disadvantage for you. You won’t be able to trek in privacy as you will be meeting many trekkers along the way.

As if you don’t book rooms in advance you might not get proper rooms to stay. So be well prepared beforehand.

Winter Season

Winter Season is the off-season time for trekking routes. It is the season when the valleys, routes, and mountains are covered in blankets of snow. The months of December, January, and February fall under this season.

These months are when the walk is challenging as you have to walk through paths covered in snow. But the skies are clear giving the outstanding view of mountain peaks covered in white snows.

During these months due to continuous rainfall, there are high chances of landslide and flood being an obstruction for you. The walks are thrilling so you should be careful.

However, this is the time when unique species of flora and fauna bloom in the forest paths. Many researchers travel in these paths to explore the unique vegetation. Also, the paths are isolated making the trek a peaceful one.
